But when attempting cock over 405 the last two inches are scary. I'm in reasonably good shape I'm at a hundred and eighty pounds at 5 ft 11. But, this is not a knock but an observation. Otherwise Killer Instinct overall □□□□ I have two other crossbows that I use a cocking rope on, both are just a little bit under 400 ft per second. The cranker is very quiet and can be used in stand easily. My concern that attempting to do that with robe crocker in a stand just too dangerous. Now for a woman to do that, sorry just doesn't happen. Just at the breakover point I forced myself to try to stand up a little higher. One call to tech support got them replaced and I had successful harvests again this year with the new limbs.I have two other crossbows that I use a cocking rope on, both are just a little bit under 400 ft per second. I di have a slight problem last year with the laminate starting to peel off the limbs. Where I hunt is pretty brushy, so I don't take shots over about 30 yards. I use 442g bolts with 100g fixed broadheads and get good pass throughs every time. I do all my hunting from a blind with shoot through screens. I purchased my Fierce 405 a little over 3 years ago at Walmart and have harvested bucks and does every year with it. Posted by Joseph McCollough on Dec 27th 2022 I used a bore sight laying in the rail to get the scope close, the fine tuned it from there. Once assembled it is fairly easy to sight in. The killer instinct crossbow is easy to assemble. The bow squeaks when you draw and it's scraping the finish off the rail I'm afraid it will wear the cable out fairly fast. Has been one of the best Crossbows I have ever owned!!!!!!! Took it out in November and bagged a 8 pointer at 40 yards. They sent me a new front end for my 405 i just wish I got it before season went out so I didn't get to use it this season but maybe next yearĪfter getting it sighted in about 5 shots.
